Longhand by Shiro Sugimitsu This program is to help memorize things such as spellings, phrases, idioms, historical events, etc. by repeatedly writing answers to questions on screen. Judge's Comments: It is a nice use of the signature capture.

PhotoDB by Ariju This is a database program to record information about photographs that you take. For each picture you can record date, which camera, lens and film used, settings, etc. Judge's Comments: It is well implemented and very professional.

TravelCalc by Toshiro Takeuchi It is a money exchange program that converts Japanese Yen to and from foreign currencies. Judge's Comments: It's a handy application.

TravelDictionary by Toshiro Takeuchi It is a dictionary program for travelers. It translates sentences and displays them. The dictionary is editable. Judge's Comments: The user interface is good and well organized.
