Knight Run by Ken Coburn
Knight Run is my version of the chess problem originally proposed by the Eighteenth century mathematician and philosopher Leonard Euler. This problem is commonly called "The Knight's Tour." Can the chess piece called the Knight move around an empty chessboard and touch each of the squares once and only once? This program includes a computer-generated solution to the problem. The demonstration algorithm uses a heuristic developed by me. The heuristic works almost every time, but it?s not perfect. Occasionally, the Knight will fail to solve the problem.

Judge's Comments: An interesting puzzle game. The demonstration is a nice feature to the program.

KuruRin is a puzzle game. 4 kinds of space aliens appear in this game. Space alien's weak point is to queue up sideways by three or more. The player arranges them by practicing the rotation magic. The purpose of the player is to erase all space aliens.

Judge's Comments: You can easily waste a lot of time on this one. Nice original characters.

In Rat Run youÕre a rat, a very hungry rat, and a scientist has dropped you into a large winding maze. Somewhere in the maze is a nice big piece of cheese. You know because you can smell it. All you have to do is find the cheese and you can eat it.

Judge's Comments: Are you smarter than rats? Try this. If you find the cheese, your satisfaction is guaranteed.
