Runtime.hpc.exe
|
This installs a minimal NS Basic/CE Runtime 7.0 onto handheld
Windows CE devices, such as the HPC 2000, HPC Pro and
HPC 2.0. It should be installed on systems which will
be running programs you have developed using NSBCE.
It is freely distributable. Once installed, you can
run NSBCE programs by tapping on them. It will not allow
you to develop or modify NSBCE programs. NOTE: For old HPC
Pro and HPC device, you may also need to
install the Script and perhaps the System modules that
follow here. Approx 1.2 megs.

Runtime.ppc.exe
|
This installs a minimal NS Basic/CE Runtime 7.0 onto palm size
Windows CE devices, such as the Pocket PC and Palm-size
PC. It should be installed on systems which will be
running programs you have developed using NSBCE. It
is freely distributable. Once installed, you can run
NSBCE programs by tapping on them. It will not allow
you to develop or modify NSBCE programs. NOTE: The old Palm-size
PC systems do not have VBScript.dll in ROM. In these
cases, you also need to install the Script and perhaps
the System modules that follow here. Also, be sure to run
"Runtime Register" in your Start...Programs
menu. Approx 1.5 megs.

RuntimeFat.hpc.exe
|
This is the same as Runtime.hpc.exe for 7.0, except it also
installs the standard ActiveX controls. Approx 4.7 megs.

RuntimeFat.ppc.exe
|
This is the same as Runtime.ppc.exe for 7.0, except it also
installs the standard ActiveX controls. Approx 4.7 megs.

Runtime.WinCE.exe
|
This is the same as Runtime.ppc.exe for 7.0, except it is for
devices running Windows CE 4.2 or higher that are not Pocket PC devices. Approx 1.4 megs.

RuntimeFat.WinCE.exe
|
This is the same as RuntimeFat.ppc.exe for 7.0, except it is for
devices running Windows CE 4.2 or higher that are not Pocket PC devices. Approx 3.5 megs.

Documentation
These zip files contain downloaded versions of information that
appears on this web site. You may store them on your desktop
computer to view offline, or download them to your Windows CE
device to take with you. From Windows CE devices, you can not
only read the documentation, but you can cut code from the samples
and paste directly into your program.
